Ben B Turner (Ben B) has officially taken on the role of Managing Director, succeeding his father, Ben Turner (Ben) who will move into the role of Chair.

This marks a significant milestone in the company’s history, celebrating both the evolution of a family legacy and a steadfast commitment to the future of the business and to farming. Over 95 years, Ben Burgess has grown from its local root’s beginnings into a leading agricultural dealer in the Eastern counties guided by the family and Board of Directors unwavering dedication, hard work and passion for the farming and the local community.

“Stepping into the role of Managing Director is a great honour,” said Ben B Turner. “I have seen my great-grandfather and father put their heart and soul into the business, building relationships on handshakes, trust and a shared passion for genuine customer service. To lead the board and to do so with my father continuing to guide our operations, is a privilege”

As Chair, Ben, will continue to support the business that he has shaped, and brought decades of industry wisdom to the frontline where his passion truly lies.

“It’s been great to watch my son grow as a leader and now to be guiding the company’s future” said Ben Turner “Our business has always been about family, our customers and the land we all rely on. The time is right and I’m incredibly proud to pass the Managing Director’s seat to Ben B, as my grandfather did for me 32 years ago. Moving into the role as Chair allows me to return to what I enjoy most: working directly with our team, our partners and customers, who are the backbone of our community.”
