Section Control

John Deere Section Control automatically turns implement sections on or off to reduce overlap and improve input management. John Deere Section Control can be utilized on planters, air seeders, sprayers, and approved ISOBUS compatible implement. John Deere Section Control is available only on the GreenStar™ 3 2630 Display.

Integrated AutoTrac

Integrated AutoTrac utilizes factory installed hardware for the control of the tractor steering. Generation 4 AutoTrac activation provides proven benefits of automatic guidance on Generation (Gen) 4 displays. This activation is machine specific, meaning it stays with the machine throughout the life of the machine. A Generation 4 display, StarFire™ receiver, and the Generation 4 AutoTrac activation are required to utilize the activation. AutoTrac offers increased productivity by being able to cover more ground, reduces overlap and maximizes input as well as reducing fatigue.

AutoTrac Universal 300

The AutoTrac Universal 300 steering kit allows operators to enjoy the benefits of automatic guidance on machines not equipped with the AutoTrac ready option from the factory. The AutoTrac Universal 300 is a bolt-on solution that provides automatic guidance in John Deere machines and many other brands. This universal guidance solution includes improvements to operator comfort, tracking performance, the resume switch, and versatility. Pair the steering kit with a display, receiver, and activation to operate automatic, hands-free guidance. The AutoTrac Universal 300 is approved in a number of vehicles not available with integrated AutoTrac, including open operator station machines. The AutoTrac Universal 300 is a great solution for producers looking for an economical guidance system.

AutoTrac Controller

The AutoTrac Controller is an integrated AutoTrac solution for older John Deere and non-John Deere tractors. This controller teams up with GreenStar™ components to provide improved performance and operating experience compared to universal steering systems. For select models, AutoTrac Controller can utilize the tractor manufacturer’s automatic steering components. These vehicles will be referenced as guidance-ready vehicles. For non-guidance ready vehicles, the AutoTrac Controller kit contains all hydraulic components needed to work with the GreenStar system. The result of which, AutoTrac Controller maintains the efficiency and comfort offered by an uncluttered and orderly cab. In addition to the market-proven benefits of AutoTrac, this system optimizes machine efficiency, reduces operator fatigue, and allows the operator to maintain faster working speeds.

Passive and Active implement guidance

ACTIVE – John Deere Active Implement Guidance automatically steers the implement onto the desired guidance line. Active Implement Guidance utilizes the Application Controller, a GreenStar™ display, and AutoTrac™ components with a variety of signal levels. These components team up with an implement steering mechanism to provide increased implement precision.

PASSIVE – More acres per day with pass-to-pass accuracy is what producers get when they use John Deere AutoTrac Implement Guidance. The tractor steers off of the guidance line so the implement can follow the intended path: the guidance line. The results are minimized skips and overlaps, reduced crop damage in subsequent passes, and increased consistency throughout the field, all accomplished with reduced operator fatigue.
