MOUNTAINPRESS 550 TPL is trailed laterally by the tractor and was designed for operators who need a small-size round-baler suitable to work also in areas that are not accessible with traditional machines. All the baler controls are actuated from the driver’s seat. An acoustic signal warns the operator that the bale has been formed. The pressure chamber opens and closes via the hydraulic control located on the tractor.
MOUNTAINPRESS is a range of small round-balers that press hay by rolling it into cylindrical bales. The MOUNTAINPRESS small round-balers produce a 20/25 kg hay bale on average every 40 seconds. The total output per hour is approximately 1,500 kg of hay.
The stationary pressing chamber is made up of aluminium rollers which form “soft-core” hay bales. The less pressed core allows hay to have a proper transpiration and prevents it from going mouldy. On its outer part the bale is heavily pressed in order to create a water-repellent, protective layer.
