Marketing Administrator

Our Marketing Administrator is a brand-new role and joins our dynamic and generalist marketing team. Reporting directly into our Group Marketing Manager we are looking for someone to support the delivery of our marketing strategy and support the day to day operations. Alongside the administrative tasks this role offers someone a real opportunity to show their creative flare working on projects and the creation of marketing materials. This role is ideally suited to someone early in their marketing career or looking to get started in a marketing team.

Our Marketing Administrator accountabilities include:

  • Undertaking all marketing administration including letters, reports and spreadsheets;
  • Responding and coordinating any sponsorship and charity requests;
  • Data cleansing and CRM system updates;
  • Event management including invitation mailings, bookings and presentations creation / updates;
  • Creation of training event handouts;
  • Attending marketing and careers events as required throughout the year (therefore UK Drivers license is essential);
  • Ordering and controlling company branded materials including business cards, notepads, diaries, stickers and keyrings etc;
  • Design and ordering of company vehicle decals;
  • Supporting the creation of artwork for trade magazines, classified ads, used equipment brochures etc;
  • Supporting the management of internal / marque advertising claims;
  • Idea generation for new initiatives, driving sales and building the brand. What we look for in the right candidate;
  • Full UK Drivers License;
  • Strong administrative skills including working with office and adobe products (or similar);
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Keen eye for design and detail with proven track record in the creation of artwork or other creative materials (adverts, brochures, website content etc);
  • Event planning experience (not essential);
  • Willing to learn new skills e.g. new software packages or product related knowledge;
  • Can demonstrate flexibility in their approach;
