A winning Norfolk Show!

3 July 2019 Ben Burgess News

The Royal Norfolk Show, which celebrates the best in Norfolk agriculture and farming, took place on 25th and 26th June. This unique event continues to grow as it maintains all of the traditional elements but also introduces fresh, new ideas year on year.

At Ben Burgess, we very much look forward to the show every year as it is our chance to support a great event and showcase some of the best farming, construction and grounds care machinery available in East Anglia… and this year was no exception!

Our stand was, once again, dressed with beautiful flowers and lots of products laid out for visitors to enjoy. Our apprenticeships and careers hut was very popular with people coming to find out more about a career at Ben Burgess, as well as our grounds care area showcasing the best lawnmowers, hedge cutters, gators, chippers and other machines for all your gardening and commercial grounds care needs.

We also featured our FarmSight technology to demonstrate the excellent work our specialist team are doing to ensure farming is fit for the future. Connected technology provides countless benefits, allowing farmers to get the best from of their machines, enabling them to turn yield into profit.

Our toy stand on the fourth avenue was a hotspot for pedal tractor racing and souvenir purchases!

We were delighted to show support for local charity, The Benjamin Foundation, with our butterfly tractor too. We look for something different to create on our Norfolk Show stand every year and a tractor covered with butterflies is certainly unique! As well as highlighting the excellent work of The Benjamin Foundation, it also encouraged members of the younger generation to our stand to learn about farming.

We were very grateful to win ‘Best Agricultural Trade Stand’ again this year and were excited to meet HRH The Countess of Wessex who presented our Managing Director, Ben Turner, and show team leaders Carl Pitelen and Sean Curtis with the winning trophy.

Thank you to every member of the BB show team for their efforts and thank you to all those that visited us over the two days. See you again next year!
