Ben Burgess
Ellington development

New depot at Ben Burgess Ellington

Our existing rented site at Brook Farm is too small for the large machinery used in farming today. The construction of our new site will allow us to continue the development of our commitment to the local agricultural, construction and grounds care industries. The site provides good access and enables us to increase the number of people we employ, including the number of apprentices, currently at 230 and 26 respectively across the Group.

Development of our new 7.5 acre site, adjacent to our present site, began at the beginning of November 2017. Our new depot will enable us to:
- Increase our workforce
- Provide a safer environment for our staff and better facilities
- An improved customer experience for our agricultural, construction and grounds care customers
- Provide a suitable premises to train our farming, construction and grounds care customers on how to maximise the potential of their machinery
- Display new and used equipment for sale
- Encourage local and national opportunities

The estimated completion date is Autumn 2018. We will be recruiting new staff and will have opportunities in sales, service, parts and administration, as well as work experience and apprenticeship placements. If you have suitable skills for our industry and would like to express an interest in joining the Ben Burgess team, please email careers@benburgess.co.uk
